Virtual Event FAQ
The above event is organised by the ETF and the European Commission - DG NEAR within the framework of the ENI East Instrument.
VENUE
The meeting will be held online in a virtual meeting room.
The event will start at 11:00 CET on 15/11/2022.
One day before the meeting, you will receive connection details for the event.
WORKING LANGUAGES
The event will be held mainly in English and Russian. The simultaneous interpretation is provided from/into 5 EaP languages (Armenian, Azerbaijani, Georgian, Romanian and Ukrainian).
SPEAKER'S PRESENTATIONS
If you have a presentation to support your speech, please make sure to contact vira.grygorenko@cecoforma.com to book an quick training session. All presentations (videos) must be sent in advance to the mentioned e-mail.
EQUIPMENT
For this virtual event the ZOOM meeting tool will be used. Shortly the briefing docu,ent will be communicated to all registered participants. The briefing document on how to use ZOOM, could be find via the link: ZOOM briefing file.
Before attending the event, test that your microphone and headphones are working correctly. If possible, use a headset microphone and headphones to avoid echo and background noise.
We advise to download the Zoom probram on you desctop to have full set of options. you can also use Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome browser, but this format could have some limitations (les functions).
For best experience use cable internet connection. If using wi-fi connection, disconnect other devices connected to the same wi-fi stream.
We would kindly ask you to only activate (unmute) your microphone when you have the floor.
DRESS CODE
It is advised to wear business attire, avoiding flashy colors fabric with patterns (dots, stripes etc.).
SETUP & LIGHTNING
Pick a quiet environment where you won’t be disturbed, mute TV, mobile phone and landlines. Best to have light colored uniform background e.g. white/grey wall.
Clear good light on front face, avoid back light.
JOINING THE MEETING
One day prior the event you will receive an invitation with link to join the meeting and a password. Please log on to the conference 15 min. in advance for the final technical checks.
When registering for the meeting write your first and second name followed by country your represent.
